HIP HOP

Started in the early 1970s, Hip Hop Dance is highly influenced by African American culture and party/social dances. Dancers will learn the foundation and appreciation for hip hop dance and history, all while learning musicality, grooving, and intricate sequences of movement, which will improve muscle memory and body awareness.

Commercial Hip Hop has hip hop foundation to popular music and may be influenced by other dance genres such as street jazz.

We have 3 different levels of competitive classes for advanced dancers who are looking to further develop their technical and performance skills. Auditions are required.

LYRICAL

Through combining elements of ballet and jazz, lyrical allows dancers to be expressive while still using their technical skills. Lyrical is known to focus on conveying emotion through learning and understanding musicality with movement. Through using dynamic and expressive movement, lyrical is a popular style for those who want to use their technique in a different way.

BALLET

Ballet is one of the most well known genres that is the core of all technical styles. With strict technique to learn, ballet is incredibly disciplined, but that's not to say that it can't be fun as well! Through gradually learning all the elements of ballet, dancers are able to build their technical foundation, musicality, and coordination, that will strengthen other genres they learn.

Our studio offers ballet classes of all levels, and level placement is determined by the instructor. Students are able to go en pointe at the recommendation of their instructor.
